Our Youth Group is a vibrant part of the atmosphere at Thaxton Baptist. Not only do our 7th-12th graders participate in Sunday School and Wednesday night ministries upstairs with Bro. Glenn and Mrs. Tammie, but the Youth participate in a wide variety of events. These events include: singing in the choir, leading the Puppet Ministry, participating in various church dramas, going to D-NOW weekend, participating in youth camp at Crossings Creek in Kentucky, memorizing scripture for Bible Drills, going to 5th Quarter home football games, participating in the nurshing home ministry, and helping with VBS, Children's Camp, and even leading Sunday worship service.
